What is Disciple Women or Christian Women’s Fellowship?
DW or CWF is not just another club. It is women seeking, serving, supporting.
Women seek .. a closer relationship to God through Bible study and prayer
to better understand the world
to find God’s purpose for ourselves in this world.
Women serve God through caring for needs in the local church
through projects to help those in need beyond the local church.
Women support one another as sisters in Christ.
the world ministry of the church.
OUR PURPOSE: to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education, and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ.
Our officers are:
President: Jean Daetwiler
Vice President: Iona Shipps
Secretary/Treasurer: Shirley Degenhart

Women's Ministries
For many years, the women’s ministry in our local church and in the Christian Church
(Disciples of Christ) was known as Christian Women’s Fellowship, or CWF. Now this
ministry is known as Disciples Women.

We have an excellent and active Disciples Women group in our church. They are involved
in numerous service projects, both within the church and in the community. General meetings
for the whole group are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month, at 1:30pm, in the church
Fellowship Hall. There are several small groups, for study and fellowship, that meet on the
2nd Tuesday of each month. There is also a Saturday morning group that meets on the 2nd
Saturday of each month.
During the months of June and July only general meetings will be held. No meetings during the
month of August.
